What cause's code P0601 - Internal control module memory error on an APR flash?
I sold an ECU to a guy and it was perfect when I sent it out..
He put it in and says its giving him code p0601. He says he talked to a shop and APR and that its the chip..
what is the cause of this code? I find it weird that the code just randomley started when he put in the ECU. I ran the ECU all the way until about an hr before shipping.. No CEL

If its a flashed tbox, i had heard of issues in the past where a bad apr flash would cause a cel, however it doesnt affect any of the driveability, just shoots off an annoying cel. Just call apr, i'm sure they can tell you straight up.
