...H&R Street coilovers. One colar is turned pretty much all the way to the top of the threads, while the other side is about 25-30 threads lower. Yet, the car is now level. I can't explain it either.

I'm not exactly sure here...give them a call, I'm sure they will have an answer for you pretty quickly.

the rear height was perfect but the fronts weren't. One CO perch nut was inches higher than the other side yet they were both equal at ground to fender height! Weird!

Some anecdotal evidence...djnelson has pointed out several instances where people with H&R sport springs on an A4 have differing ride heights. The original owner of my S4 had differing ride heights on the front left/right with the H&R coilovers. He sent those springs back to the Tirerack, and got new ones, which cured that issue. I had H&R coilovers in my A4...rear ride heights were off by a quarter inch - left to right - even though the perches were set in the exact same place (I set them myself). A local friend's A4 had H&R coilovers and witnessed the same issue (right rear sat lower than left rear, if the perches were set in the same place).
As I said, it's all anecdotal evidence, so take it for what it's worth.
