Default most body shops will cover their work forever. I know u don't want to use them again...

but u might be stuck and have them do it AGAIN. I just had a fender dent repaired. It didn't match the other side's shape and angles. They re-did it

good luck!

Default Was there any sort of warranty on your repair. Many times if you use a body shop recommended by the

Insurance company, they give a lifetime warranty on the repair, or else the body shop itself may warrant the work. Automotive grade paint fading and chipping after such a short time is definitely not normal. Your leverage may compromised, but you should be able to argue that the work is defective.

Default the problem with all the details is I was in college when this happened

and probably was just to stoned to notice and to lazy to make a big deal about the details, warranty...

Default you're going about this the wrong way...its the insurance company's fault.

you used their shop. the shop f'd up. the shop's fix f'd up.

you should demand to the insurance company that you get the job redone at a shop of your choosing and pass the cost onto the insurance co.

Default don't you think that's a little low for a full respray? I had my Saab 900 SPG done back in

95 and was over $3500.... I would have guess it would cost more almost 10 years later.

Alot of it depends on the vehicle, but I wouldn't expect to see an estimate over 5k really.
