Default What do stock S4 wheels weight? New super light weight Centerline wheels

Any one have the new 17-19 inch forged centerline wheels on their Audi's. The 17s only weight like 13.5 lbs. What do the stock wheels weight w/o rubber? I heard 28lbs. Thats a 50lb easy weight reduction in unsprung mass! = Faster car.

Damn,

I need to think about getting lighter wheels. I heard that 1lb reduction in unsprung mass is like losing 2 lbs of sprung mass. So if I can reduce 50lbs in wheels thats like 100lbs of sprung mass or roughly 1/10th sec off the quarter mile ~ 10lbs advantage and it would add more style!

How much do they run and how light are they for 17s or 18s?

THanks

Default You can go with OZ SL's and they will cost you under $300 each for 17's

and are around 15-16 lbs each.

Those Centerlines are nice - 19": 14.89 lbs., 17": 13.5 lbs. I don't think they fit the S4 though.
