Might be...but that could be mitigated at least a little with heat wrap, etc....
Still be interesting to see results from such a car.
Single turbo is the only way to go for huge HP (assuming that is the goal).

THERE are a lot of bull****ers that talk about building a single s4 but...
there are none running. only single running on a 2.7t is in a CQ or something like that BUT NONE IN THE B5S4. Oh yeh im building a moon rover thats going to help me collect the helium3 and get RICH RICH FILTHY RICH.
