What do you guys think of Maha dyno pulls that take over 40 seconds?

<shrugs> As long as each run takes the same amount of time, but 40 seconds sounds like a bit
If I go thru 3+ gears in under 13 seconds, then I can't see how a 40 second run provides any more data points then a consistent 12-15 second run.

Heat soak would definitely screw things up...also
turbo cars tend to put out their best numbers under high load situations. If the moment of inertia of the drums is so high that it takes 40 seconds to make a pull, you're going to see artificially high power numbers down low tapering to low numbers up top when heat soak sets in.
