Default What do you tell a date when you have to let the turbos cool
for 2 minutes? I feel like a nut case every time

Default Even with a turbo timer , they don't understand.
But they think the remote starter is cool.

Default Luckily my girlfriend is pretty understanding...
Although she does get annoyed sometimes. If I am going to dinner somewhere, I generaly take it real easy on the car for about a mile before I get there.

Default what megeboost said easy driving for the last few mins, i still let it cool for 1 min after i park.

put it in those terms, if she has any brains maybe she'll understand. When something works hard it needs some time to catch it's breath and cool!

Maybe not with a "date" though
