What do you use to protect coilover threads from salt, etc.

you have the cad plated shocks, so they won't rot off anytime soon (I hope). I'm going to go fishing for a spray on lubricant in a can. Lithium grease is messy and attracts dirt, so I'll probably knock that off the list. I've used griot's anti-sieze paste in the past with good success. It's a ceramic based paste that not messy like most others. It doesn't attract and mix with dirt either. I used them on my H&R coilovers, and after 17K miles (through one mild winter), the threads looked perfect!! Note: Those coilovers sat on the floor for one month before I installed them, and the threads began oxidizing in that time, so the anti-sieze did help a lot. The only problem with this stuff is that they sell it to you in a small bottle with a brush attached to the cap. brushing this stuff on the coilovers after they are installed on the car is a royal PITA (hence my desire to find something I can spray on the threads).
