Default According to APR.......

....it "enhances upshifting and downshifting, reduces driveline shock, and helps power transfer by taking up excess drivetrain slack."

Default it's just a stiffer little bump-stop than stock...when the engine rocks back and

forth, it doesn't let it rock as much..it's a floating mount attached to the front of the motor and resides within a housing located on the radiator core support..when you put it in, get it well centered in that housing...it helps if you loosen the 4 bolts to adjust the housing around it

It is similar in effect as the AWE DTS, but not to the same extent.

Default It also tells you when you don't rev match *perfectly*. AWE DTS will do the same.

Not that I didn't expect that...but I'm still getting used to rev matching in the S...the gear ratios are much closer than my A4, or my daily driver.

This one is obviously the stock mount...

This mount is our APR snub. I sat in a chair to demonstrate the strength of the materials used and had someone take the pictures.
