what exactly are roll control springs? just regular springs?

Default I believe they are a superior alternative to glowsticks and water.
But really, just regular shorter springs with a different sportier name.

Default Progressive rate springs with 1.3" drop, recommended coupled w/ Koni's.
Supposedly a controlled and comfortable ride. Time will tell...Wanna guinea pig the kit for us?
