No chance to log yet. Hope to do so soon. Times won't be so good w/ 90+ temps and humidity though!

Default But several people ran X on stock fueling before going Stage III or tweaking. Tyring to get a base

of refence for my car and setup - and to make sure that everything seems ok.

I haven't had a chance to do any real runs b/c I am dealing with my clutch.

The one pull i did (with the AC on) was a 4.9 - but I am not sure that this is a great data point to be sharing yet, would like to do a little more logging.

Default Well I'd be interested to compare our times, as we are nearly the same setup...

stage 3- with X on k04's, piggies, phenolic spacers, neuspeed g2, and a slipping clutch. I don't have a LWFW though.

Any thoughts of going with the new GIAC code or the 3- code?

Mid 4s on average with occasional low 4s.

Default LOL, we can create a slipping clutch database>>>

I talked to Jeff Moss the other day on the 3-.

I am actually running wihtout MBC or TCD right now b/c I haven;t had the time to get it in and can't drive the car hard anyway.

I keep wavering back and forth - on one hand I like the idea of getting this running on 3- and focusing on something other than cars for a few weeks (i.e. job, wife, kids etc.) - but I am worried that the 3- code is so conservative that it will be a bit of a disapointment. I would really like to see some numbers from someone running it.

Bottom line if the 3- is faster than X with MBC and TCD i am there, otherwise I will stay X with some limited lemmi tweaks.

I would love to see some of your logs when you can get a third gear pull. I ran 5.5 FATS at Stage II. I am really not sure what I should expect to pull on K04s with stock fueling - my guess is that a 4.9 in 90 degree humid weather was not that bad.

Default It's not a matter of one being faster than the other. They will be about the same...

The difference is whether or not you are the tweaking type. If you aren't, just get the 3- code with adaption channels disabled so you can "set it and forget it." However, you won't be able to use that software for a hombrew full fueling setup so just be aware of this in case you plan on going that route.

Default Thanks. I ran a 4.9 in my Avant and it was HOT and HUMID.

I am running stock intercoolers.

I know the time will be a little better if i wasn't worried about the clutch letting go.

Thanks for the input.

Default FWIW, all my mid 4s were in 80+ F while all my low 4s were in 65-75 F.

Now I am pulling low 4s in 80+ and 3s in anything below 80 with homebrew full fueling.
