what have people done for wiring up an EFK ?

Default what have people done for wiring up an EFK ?

I was thinking of getting some type of stat to wire it to, so it comes on at a given temp.

anyone have anything simple and easy ?

i got ride of my fogs, so i just use that for power and turn on with the fog light switch

Default I was thinking of connecting the fog lights to the running lights.

so that the fogs come on with them.

then possibly running the fan off of that. It just seems like it would be a pita turning it on and off all of the time. Then re sell.

Default i have the one from vast. i just didn't use his relay.

my car does not get hot enough and yes it would be a pain to switch on and off if i needed

Default cool thats the one i have to put in a few weeks.

and im planning on using the foglight relay as well since i dont run fog lights.

btw how was the install?

Default install wasn't too bad. i just pulled the bumper and loosen the radiator support. if you take the

support all the way off you will have more room.

Default Easy: Wire directly to secondary fan (behind radiator). Worked for me for 2.5+yrs.

With the two fans running, you are safely loading the circuit. No worries!

Default 2 fans ??? i only have one ? Ihave a FMIC. So i had to remove the fan on the front.

and to fit the EFK i had to remove the fan on the inside of the radiator.

DId i f somewthing up ?
