S4incter

I need a 8D0 907 551 A ecu for my 2000 audi s4. I called a yard around here and found one, supposedly. The numbers on the case are all different than the factory ecu, but when hooked to vagcom it says it's connected to an 8D0 907 551 A??? Is this like an aftermarket ecu or something? ok, interesting. doesn't apr sell ecu's for there chips? think some company did that?

was told it could be "chipped" or "programmed"

also, i googled the me 7.1 on the box and the 2000 s4 came up as the version of motronic for the ecu

if it shows as 551 A on vagcom, its probably compatible.
