What is next best thing (or better) to APR's Bi-pipe? MTM?

The only way I could see a part getting into the intake would be a bad install. Once it's on there are no parts/bolts that would fall in if they came loose, it's a one piece casting and the bolts are all external to the air flow.
Now if someone had a faulty casting and no one caught it then I could see a problem. I can't imagine working on intake piping on a turbo car without taking extra care to keep track of any stray parts.
Lifetime warranty on the MTM part though, right?

I guess I see it differently...
The bi-pipe seems so much more complete. It's far more solid then the plastic runners. No?
The $50 ? Don't misinterpret me when I say I don't see $50 as a big deal...just not a show stopper if the other aspects of the bi-pipe make sense.
Last, I guess I don't hold the "OEM Look" as that important. Push come to shove I'll go to bat against the denegrading effects of a TBB upgrade.
Long and short...I can't justify $300 for a rubber boot.
