Long story short, I came to a sharp left with a hydrant at 'perfect' striking conditions. Slid for like a good 40 feet and narrowly missed it by 1/2 a foot as at least 2 other cars before me had done, but popped the curb.
Problem is normaly I would have kept the tires straight to avoid damaging the supension, but due to circumstances I cranked the wheel. Popped the curb with the tires NOT straight.
Now at approx 70 km/h, I feel a rumbling happening, feels fine at lower speeds. There is definately ice in front tires, steering turns fine, straight lines don't need hands, just high speeds it rumbles. Crossed fingers...
what are the odds its just ice and not damage to anything else? bent rim?
