Default What are the pros/cons of tapping off the DV vac line versus the FPR vac line for boost gauge?

I've been told the FPR is more common but I'm worried about possible leak(s) causing my FPR to not work correctly. Tapping off one of the DV seems safer but I would suspect a slight difference in DV operation if you tap off only one.

Default dont tap off the DV line... where did you hear to do that?

There is a line under the y-pipe coming vertically out of the intake manifold, tap that.

Yeah, don't use the DV line. It is isolated from manifold by the N249 valve.
