what are the rpm's at 70 mph in 6th gear

i think it's between 3k and 3.5k .. cuz uhh... 4k rpm in 6th was close to 100

Just happened to post this photo earlier today, and someone emailed me regarding what gear I was in. I'm 99% sure I was in 6th, since I was on a long, wide open stretch of four-lane back highway at two in the morning. However, I'd just refueled within an hour of this photo, and had been on the road for 12 hours at this point, so perhaps I'd forgot to climb into overdrive. : )

The photo was taken at some point between Davenport and Dubuque Iowa on Hwy 61. I was on my way back to Madison, WI. (home at the time) from Denver, where I'd just taken delivery of my S4A 24 hours earlier. : )

BTW ... when refueling shortly before this photo, it was actually -30&deg; wind chill and I think I left a ******** at that gas station. &lt;grin&gt;
