Some cars I might recommend for that price range:
M3-but you already had one.
C32 AMG-do you mind auto? This car has ***** and is stealth.
Audi S8-yes they are selling for this low
New Sti-put $4,000 into mods/wheels and you'll have an economy car go-cart w/ mucho power!
Otherwise wait 5 months and buy a slightly used 2004 Audi S4. It should be around $40-42,000.

IS300 with turbo kit?....
Cost about $7500 when all said and done but you will be close to 400rwhp. The nonturbo 2jz is over built and lexus quality so it wont break even modded. Make sure you get one with the TRD limited slip diff. I think the sport model has one. You can find new ones for $28K on lexus.net . I got my RX330 for $4K under sticker and it's a brand new model.
