Can't say - it's more complicated than that
The S4 has the standard Audi 5 bolt pattern, whatever that is (5 x 114?) and the factory 17" Avus wheel is ET 35, if I'm not mistaken. But that isn't the problem.
The problem boils down to the shape of the spokes, and their depth. The front brake caliper sticks way out into the wheel well, and the wheel needs to be almost flat, flush with the outer rim, for there to be enough clearance. There are a lot of wheels of that have the same diameter and offset as the Avus rims, but they won't fit because of their shape. The wheel offset measures the relationship of the center of the wheel to the rim, but it does NOT address the shape of the wheel itself, and that's the problem.
About the only way to find out for sure is to test fit the wheel you're interested in. I spent a few hours at Ronal's warehouse, trying on everything in the place. Only a very few wheels actually fit properly. A few more would work, if you don't mind putting spacers behind the wheel.

'00 S4 with Ronal R-7's - they do fit!

The stock wheels are 17 x 7.5 ET+45 5x112 with 57.1mm centerbore. (more)
Also, not every wheel with similar specs will necessarily work. You must check to see if the wheel will fit over the front calipers. If the wheel is "deep-dish" at all, or has a big outer lip, chances are that it won't fit. Wheels with a flush design, but with thick spokes might not fit either. If you can name the specific wheel, we might know if it will fit, but if it hasn't been tried yet, that might be the only way to find out.
