What is the so called 'driveline slack' that the Snub mount and DTS take up?

Default What is the so called 'driveline slack' that the Snub mount and DTS take up?

I would imagine it is the jolt you get when you lift off of the accelerator. It sounds like something is being disengaged/engaged a bit too late and hard. Is this it? If so, with the aformentioned mods is this severely reduced to nothing?
