afraid its going to blow up on the launch... what can break? motor mounts? tranny mounts? anything to help prevent damage besides not launching? DTS/snub?

isn't too high and is usually where I launch it at. You do know how to launch this car though right? Feather the gas between 3000-3500 and while on the upswing to 3500 rpms just drop the clutch (don't side step) and off you go.

like in the l/r engine mounts, the l/r tranny mounts, the center drive shaft donut, the rear long neck mount and finally the CVs.
Just don't be surprised when you put on some sticky tires, a Snub and DTS, do a hard luanch and hear the drive shaft or rear long neck smaking the undercarriage of the car.
The shock will always go somewhere.

Are you familiar with slipping the clutch? I've had my fastest times 60ft's with slipping (1.7x).
BTW, I've had my car at the strip about 5 times with NOTHING breaking. That doesn't mean you'll have the same, but just my experience.
I've tried many different ways of launching (5k drop/4k drop/3.5k drop) and slipping seems the way to go. Just get the turbo's spooling while you're releasing and quickly pull your clutch foot back.
