Default what is wrong with my engine?

It was 50 degrees outside and my car had been sitting in the school parking lot all day. when i started up the engine, the tach jumped to about 1400 (seems like it usually jumps to 1200 on a cold start up) and the engine started pulsating (reminded me of the sound of a helicopter blade) It was also vibrating the car slightly. as soon as the engine warmed up and tach dropped down to about 900 rpms it sounded fine and currently drives fine now,,but i'm alittle concerned because i've never experienced this before.

Default when mine misfires at startup it sort of sounds like an out of sync whump whump whump . . .

until it warms up a bit. Tightening the gap seemed to help.

It would vibrate because one or more cylinders isn't firing.

Default I drove mine like that for a few weeks, it seemed to go away when it warmed up a bit . . .

might try running some Techroline through it and maybe it's time for new plugs.

I think some people have had coilpacks go bad as well . . .

Depends on how many miles I guess too . . .
