Default What's the best place to go in NJ/NYC area to have timing belt replaced?

What would be a good price for the timing belt service? What else should be replaced while at it?
Car is 60K miles, 2001, tip.

Thanks for advice!

I have some places listed on VAGLinks. Hope others can chime in as to who is better etc...

I'll give a very strong recommendation for Autofirme, up in Amenia, NY. Perhaps a bit of a haul for you. Greg Hayman is very active in the Audi Club, both as a driving instructor and running tech inspections. He and his brother have run an Audi Rally car for a number of years as well. Greg is factory trained (in Switzerland!) and both honest and careful. I've had seven Audis under his care over the past 15+ years, many timing belts, and some major repairs as well. Every one done carefully, great communication and detailed knowledge of the car.

I doubt you'll find a better Audi mechanic in the US.
