What's the deal with the CD changer - Audi install says radio recode needed, but apparently not?
The "official" installation instructions for the CD changer from Audi say the radio must be recoded to know a CD changer is present, but most folks here who bought one from Clair have said you just plug it in and go. Anyone know what the deal is? Does the radio just come coded for a CD changer automatically, or do you have to find someone friendly with a VAG tool?
