There isn't one. The wiki is wrong.

Default 'bi' is multi-lingual, as its root is latin. "twin" is something for the english language

hence why my car says "biturbo"

Default it's difficult to tell what sex the turbos are sometimes

so they just say "bi-turbo"

Default I think Wiki is right, that's how I understood it too.

Twin = 2 of the same.
Bi = Just means that there are 2, which can be 2 of the same or 2 in sequence.

Hence, Twin-turbo = Bi-Turbo, but Bi-Turbo is not necessarily = Twin-turbo.

Default Bi means two. Twin means two. There is NO difference.

There is obviously a difference between sequential and parallel, but you're not going to find it with bi and twin nomenclature.

Default If im correct, Which I think i am...

Twin turbo is 2 diffrent size turbos, that spool at diffrent times.

Bi turbo is 2 of the same size turbos that spool together..

Bi turbo requires funky intercoolers like ours, with 2 inlets and 2 outlets, as to where twin can be ran much like single turbo with 1 inlet and 1 outlet on the intercooler...

I think thats right?

bi = it favours both sexes, twin = it has an identical sibling.
