Whats the difference between ABT/AMS Ko4's and other RS4 turbos? Why are they 6K ??

This is what I heard/know...
...Abt K04s came out before the RS4 KO4s. They are a bit smaller and as a result should spool faster.
My "guess" is that at the low end, they give better performance than the RS4 K04s but the RS4 K04s should have better top end.
Which performs better? I don't know. But for the money, no question, the RS4 K04s are a better deal.

Abt turbos are custom made KKK-04 turbos that are drop in replacements for K03s
Low production means higher costs. You may a lot more for turbos, but you don't need all the other plumbing.

more like $4K, for just the turbo's
but the price of RS4 turbo's, being what it is...
means more people will take some small increase in spool time, in exchange for a cheap price on RS4's
