What's the long term update with the lower temp thermo switch people? Still worth it?

Default had it for over 8 months IIRC, hasn't caused any issues....

I love the peace of mind, and it hasn't killed my battery life or coolant pump or fan or anything. Pretty much any time the ambient temp is 77 or above it comes on, but I haven't timed for how long. I also pop my hood every single place I feel like I safely can do that. That's probably the biggest help.

I have it and I think my fan is starting to go now, thats the only problem I've had.
