Default whats the MOST simple way to hardware a passport 8500

I see a bunch of guides, some with pics, some without. I just want the easiest way to hardware it for now, since its thanksgiving and radio shack is closed!

drop the fuse panel out the side of the dash and find a ignition on hot wire on the back side of it ( with test liht or other ) then run the wire up the side piller on the inside of the door ( little peice of weather striping comes off ) then above the headliner @ the top of the windshield and down the cover of the rear view mirror wire cover and your there

Using which wire? All I have is the lighter smartcord that came with it.

Default Use the fusebox. Clearly the easiest way. You only need a male spade connector and an o-ring

connector (for the ground). Run the wire around the edge of the windshield and dashboard. Should take no more than 15 minutes.

See the tech section for which fuse port to use.

Re: you need to order the kit for escort for hard wire mounting or cut the lighter cord
