What's the name of part that basically reroutes/bypasses coolant when there's a leak?

Are you referring to a leaky aux coolant pump?

Default Do you have a coolant leak? Do you know where it is leaking? Have you peaked under the intake...

manifold to see if the aux pump is leaking? There will be some pink crusty stuff under there if so.

Do a search on that and look for photos so you can see what I am speaking of.

Have you had your oil sampled to make sure that it isn't a leaky head gasket?

Lastly, is your expansion tank brown and cracked and leaking?

It was a TSB - there are special parts that were made to re-route the lines. No linky, sorry.

Default If it's the aux pump I wouldn't blame the TB job. Many of of us have experienced...

these pumps leaking.

There is really no connection between doing the aux water pump and the TB job.
