Anyone have scraping problems with a DTS if your car is lowered?

Default I thunk it does. I don't hear it anymore and definately more HP to the floor.

If you look under the car there is nothing supporting the tranny. Once you put the smelly carbon block in place and install the DTS the tranny doesn't move much at all anymore. Thus no more thunk or very minimal. I mean there is a big difference in sound and shifting and additional power to the floor seemingly.

About a 15 minute install if you memorize the instructions otherwise about 25 minutes making sure everything is done correctly. Pretty much idiot proof install if you have something to lift/support the tranny while you install the 8 screws/bolts.

Nahhh...You're ok with those craters...Just put some rollers on the DTS and you'll be fine.

Default Dude...its timing and skills!...read on

I have driven many cars from civics to early 90's ferraris that are tough to drive. With some "feel" (term for hand-eye skills and athletic touch put together) you can shift any car smoothly without thunk or jerk. Some people (many girls I know) cant drive stick worth a **** even though they drive one everyday. I will say that if im not paying too much attention, I will have a clunky clutch release every so often and laugh at myself. But its not the car on most cases unless there really is a specific problem.

Default No its not just timing and skills. I can drive any car (and some S4's) perfectly smooth.

Some just suck. Mine did... but ALL S4's take way too much concentration to drive smoothly because of the VW/Audi patented tranny slop.
