What's up with the key?

Anyone ever put their key into the door and been able to turn it either to the right or left? I tried all three keys and none seem to work. Anyone have any ideas? I don't know if the keys ever worked as I just bought the car a couple of days ago. I leaned of this this afternoon when I tried the windows up feature...

Our keys do have to be turned surprisingly hard. I actually went back to my dealer

once to complain and was embarrased when he just walked over to my car and showed me that it worked fine :} That was actually on an A4 I had before my S4.
