Your absolutely right.. i know that guys in the euro scene take very good care of their cars...but a car with k04's has a better chance of having being beat on without a question....I dont wanna end up picking up a car and have to put in a new tranny lets say..i wanna jump in the game with a crispy car..put the tbe/bi-pipe,chip,intake and fuel upgrades into it instead of having to dump money into the car just to get it to square 1.

Dont get me wrong if i see a k04 s4 thats immaculate and was driven by lets say a mature driver who doesnt beat on it and garaged the car id surely make a move on it.. but im sure that would be hard to find..

cars out there. As long as the person has taken care of the car and hasn't cut corners you'll be fine. Just because the car is garaged and the person is mature doesn't mean the car is actually well taken care of. Plenty of those cars might have gotten dino 30w oil, the wrong plugs, halfassed repair jobs (from a dealer or general repair shop) etc.

3rd...if I did it again I'd probably buy a k04'd car...a clean 3- would be good....
