already going bad (what a PITA)!

Also, if you can tell me who sells this brand you recommend, it would be appreciated.

TIA

The SKF is what's in there now and it's failing. Which one lasts?

Default how'd you press in the bearing?

IMO on replacements, how the bearing is pressed is more important than the brand when it comes to longevity. I had a bearing that was pressed in at a dealer using a hydraulic press which only lasted 3k. The bearing tool seems to be better at evenly pushing the bearing in without damaging it.

I took it to a local garage and they pressed it in. What bearing tool are you referring to?

This looks like I can use it while the housing is still in the car. Is that correct?

Default And Audi has a hydraulic variant that they use while the upright is still on the car, but...

they still get to charge you for complete removal of the upright and time to use a shop press.
