Default Wheel spacers??

Anyone here running spacers with the stock Avus wheels? Thinking about the H&R wheel spacers. Any negatives with doing say an 8mm spacer?

Also, does anyone know where to get longer wheel bolts?

Thanks

why would you on stock Avus rims? you should avoid spacers if you can... not the best solution...

Default Spacers

Aesthetically, if you're going to keep the Avus wheels, I think spacing them out so that they are closer to flush with the body looks better. Just IMHO.

5mm or 8mm should not be a problem. Larger than that you'll start running out of lip on the hub to mount the wheel.

Whomever sells you the spacers should also be able to sell you the appropriate length bolts (Sacramento Motoring and www.nascarplace.com are two places that can provide both).

Default Possible shimmy problems

The 5mm & 8mm H&R spacers are not hubcentric. You may develop a wheel shimmy with these. I stock a 10mm hubcentric spacer out of Germany in addition to the 15mm H&R's. If you really want 8's, I'll give them to you at cost (around $40/pair) just to get rid of them. SD

Default Any reason why not?

I'd like to know what it will affect, if any.

I've already bent an 18" and was thinking of HREs but just could not justify the price. I think I'll go back to stealth mode again.
