When the road is poorly paved and I come to a medium to hard stop, the steering wheel has a tendency to turn one way of another. Coming to a red-light today it turned about 90 degrees to the left. I was lightly holding the wheel and most of the movement came at the very end of the stop. At the next light, where the road was better paved, it stayed straight.

Does this indicate a problem, or is this normal behavior for bumpy roads?

happens to me in both A4 non-quattro and S4 quattro. Wider tires make it worse. Hold wheel tight!!
