Wheels - 18s versus 19s - question.......

For those of you who have had 18 inch wheels and went to 19 inch wheels (and vise versa) - any regrets (harsh ride, fitment issues, increased noise, etc)?
I have 18s now and I am thinking about 19s (see photo courtesy of AWE)

Depends on how low your ride is and what suspension your running...
To answer your question, I have 19"LM's with coilovers and no my ride is not harsh. Many people infact are impressed with the ride quality.

I went from 18" BBS RC to 19" RS4 DTM reps last summer.
I have to say as nice as the 19s look on the car
the lighter 18s performed a little faster being
8lbs lighter per wheel. Also the less sidewall
you have the harder your ride will be.
And less protection for the wheels.
Making 19s easier to bend.
A set of light weight forged 18s seem to be the optimum for our cars.

Right now I have 18X8.5 and they weigh 26.8 and the 19s I am...
considering are closer to 20lbs so the rotational mass will be less. BTW, I love the look of the RS4 reps but do not want the weight.
