Default When was the first time you went out on a track?

I am 17 and dont feel i am skilled enough as a driver to go to a track. I really dont like to speed on the street but really want to see what the big deal is with the S on the track. I know that it is a great car and almost feel bad for her only seeing Michigan city roads. If i did go to the track i have many friends that i have made from my local audi club(dtwaudi.com). That would be willing to walk and teach me the art. I go to Kart2Kart(www.kart2kart.com) every once in a while so i know the basics of apexing and so on.

Default if you're in Michigan, hit up an event at Waterford Hills

It's a low speed, low key track - great for a first timer.

The earlier you learn how to properly control a car, the safer you'll be on the road.

Default It's never too early to go to the track. There is a beginner group for a reason.

I started when I was 18. IIRC, PCA and/or Waterford Hills won't let you out until you're 18.

My entire body aches the next day from bracing myself. I'm sure a harness would help.

Let me know when you plan on going. I'll come out there. I might bring a surprise.

I've tried all that. A harness may be next, but during the event I feel fine.
