When Vast "piggifies" DPs, do they replace the main cats too?

Default When Vast "piggifies" DPs, do they replace the main cats too?

The description on the website kind of sounds like they replace the main cats with new OEM cats but I wasn't sure. I have a bad cat code that I need to fix and I'm wondering if getting piggie pipes will fix that issue. I'd rather not get used cats since I don't know how much life will be left in them leaving the possibility of the problem coming back in a short period of time.

Default I'm certain they retain the existing main cat (would cost much more if replaced)

email them and see what options are available for your budget - I'm confident you will get a prompt reply :^)

Default I have a bad cat code as well, that's why I am going with piggies.

I think they are used, but I am not sure either. just buy them and send them your bad cat, they will send you a working cat and might charge you the $100 for having a bad cat.

Default FWIW, if you do have a bad cat, it would be one of the pre-cats...

since those are what are measured for cat efficiency in the stock configuration.

Piggie pipes remove those pre-cats and use the main cats for "cat efficiency". So unless both your pre- and main cats are bad, piggies will likely be fine for your needs.

Default I don't remember the exact code off the top off my head but it's the warm up cat efficiency code.

So that would be the precat and not the main cat? I guess that makes sense since the O2 sensors are before and after the precat so efficiency is based on the difference between the primary and the secondary O2 sensor.

Correct. The pre-cats (aka "warm-up cats") are the ones that have the efficency test in stock cfg.

cat's are not a wear item. There has to be something wrong to go bad.
