Many people on this forum talk about going 100mph+. If you have a detector will you have time to slow down before they nail you?

Default It all depends on which detector you have...

100MPH to 55MPH doesn't take that long, just a couple of seconds.

Default Depends more on the "threat"

Instant on gun or laser, you are going to jail, most likely.

No matter how much $$ you spend, it does not make you immune to getting caught.

Default I guess there's no way to be 100% protected from ever getting pulled over for speeding. But Lidatek

in combination with a V1 should give a person enough time to reduce their speed to the legal limit in time to avoid a ticket.

Default Depends on how close the detector indicates the threat is...

frequency of the beeps and how many lights are lit, depending on the display of the particular detector of course.

If he's popping other traffic with Ka radar a V1 will give you 1-1/2 mile warning (easy)
