i know i could order from carson, but why would the prices be any different than my local dealer?

every dealer sets their own prices. it can vary drastically from dealer to dealer.

Default ^^ He's right. Talk to the dealer and kindly ask for a lower price. They should be able to sell to
sell you this piece of plastic cheaper. Try VW dealer too.

For 2 710N DVs, you're looking at $73.82 + shipping. Theres only one other retailer that has the same pricing level Riverside does.
