Default Remove the fan using and adjustable wrench (it is reverse threaded)...

As for the chopstick tool, are you referring to the cam locking bar? Never heard it called that before.

If the chopstick tool is a tool that is used to hold the fan while you loosen it, you won't need that tool either. I just held my fan by hand, and left the serpentine belt in place. I took the adjustable wrench, placed it over the fan hub, and gave it a good tap with a rubber mallot. Came right off.

Default i never used a chopstick too when i did it, just use a small hex "L" wrench

and i got a adjustable wrench that went up to 32mm to get it off.

Default I will try that method. THe chopstick tool is a special tool that holds the fan for turning the nut

Sears sells a 32mm for $25.

If I just tried to turn the nut, the pulley would spin as well...

Default I would venture a guess that ZDMAK has it...

But you really don't need it. I used a 1/4" socket extension inserted in one of the holes on the pulley to stop it from rotating and then a 32mm to free the fan. It's not hard.
