a couple of questions (open to anyone)........
Brian, you may reply to my email if you wish not to post publicly.
my dilemma - what would you choose & why, Brian - try to be as objective as you can - if you make a good cas, i'll buy TONIGHT! :-) (not being a tool, just looking for the best deal, as well as most for my $$)
ECS Slotted Rotor - (321x30) - pair cadmium coated Made by Zimmerman Germany, $189
Vs
ECS Slotted OEM Rotor - (321x30) - pair cadmium coated $319.95
why the price differance?, whats the differance between the two products?, which is better?
secondly, how does ECS's products compare to the Stop Tech OEM direct replacement slotted rotors which go for $284 / pair ($142 ea)
BTW - these are all FRONT rotors & i'm going with STOCK brake pads.
Thanks everyone!

Re: a couple of questions (open to anyone)........
Bacially the difference between the two slotted rotors are that one is an aftermarket (made by Zimmerman) plain rotor which is slotted by ECS and the other is the actual OEM rotor slotted by ECS. Obviously the OEM parts are always more expensive which is where the cost difference comes from. The Stoptech rotors or slotted (or drilled) OEM rotors too. Maybe they just charge less because they do the slotting in house but they would esentially be the same as the ECS slotted OEM rotors. I was looking at the same options but ended up getting the Stoptech kit including pads, lines and rotors. In the end, the entire package was a great deal since I was going to get pads and rotors anyway, it was like getting SS lines for free. That was before the price went up though.

Zimermmann doesn't make slotted rotors.
Zimmermann only makes Cross Drilled or plain face rotors. Several companies may take a plain face rotor and slot it themselves.
We offer both plain and cross drilled straight from Zimmermann.
