Default While replacing the cam chain tensioner seals, is there anything else that I should have done as a
preventative / maintenance measure?

I'm also having a problem starting the car when the engine is warm. I've ruled out the coolant temp. sensor (replaced it twice already).

Someone suggested it might be the cam position sensor. I'm not sure if that's right, but should I just get that replaced anyway?

Also VAGed the car today and found that the right front oxygen sensor is busted. Could that be the cause of this problem?

valvecover seals and cam seals. just change the O2 first and diagnose again

Default When my cam position sensor went out it still started ok...
hot or cold and just got a CEL.

Hmm, I got no cam position sensor error code from VAG, which leads me to think that's not it.

Yeah, based on STFA, I might start with the O2s.
