Default mechanic said it was water in gas tank, from when they changed it...

Im starting to simplify it to three things:
blown turbos, vacuum/boost leak, or water in the tank.

Would a good amount of water in the tank cause this? doesnt seem like a possibility.

after my drive i saw the white smoke come out more when i was going downhill in 3rd, it was under vacuum and started slowly leaving a trail of smoke. when i would acellerate or put it in neutral it would go away.

Default I originally thought it was water when I said "Heat/Humidity" so I wouldn't be suprised...

just like after you wash your car and then start it

Why don't you try to empty your gas tank, and fill it up with gas to see if it gets better..

Default wow, never knew water could cause this much...

I must have a good amount of water in there from when they left the tank open to replace it. Im gonna check the vacuum hoses, especially the f.p.r. one, and see if it leaks.

i will fill up the tank, run it, and get some water remover.

thanks for your help doc.

im gonna really miss my car, seperated for six weeks from it. ill probably end up having withdrawls after the second day away. : )

have a nice vacation everyone. peace.

Default Re: pics.

I just wish CHP gets you for your non-CARB compliance one day, if not for speeding.
