Just started the other day. Door ajar warning even though the door is closed. Prevents me from locking the car, not to mention the annoying chime and display on the dash. Before I take the door apart, I was wondering who else has had this problem and what was the cause. Is the sensor prone to failure or just a loose connection?

1 can will do!
Before I lubricated it, I could intermittently cause the door to secure by slamming it really reallllly hard!
