I have heard of them being easy to bend. Anybody has actually bent one? What were the conditions that led to it? How much brake clearance is there in the 18x8.5? Does anybody know the offset?

Was forced by traffic into a 12" deep crater, how do I know? The bottom of the car scraped
It only has a slight wobble, put it to the rear. I had it balanced recently and it didn't *look* bent so maybe I shifted a belt in the tire. After the balance it seems smooth though ![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I believe the offset is 35mm. I have lots of clearance on my 332 Stoptechs, it was never close to an issue.

i plan to run them soon. here in MA the roads have turned into the surface of the moon. i'm going to put no less than 40psi in all 4. we'll see what happens.
per lb. the SSRs advertise to be the strongest rim out there. i trust that.
i think the softness is most likely interpreted by not having enough air pressure in the tires.
