Default What 's interesting is that AWE/GIAC didn't feel it was necessary with their kit, but the AMS

kit was tuned on Josh's car (among other cars I assume), he was running the stock pump during the stage 5 tuning, even though the RS4 FP is part of the kit, I assume it may be necessary for future stages though ..

I never installed my RS4 fuel pump, figure I will keep it until the time comes, but at $600 new, damn maybe I can get 5 bills for it dlvd ?

Default Seriously, I'm starting to think Hal is on to something with regard to needing a bigger/better pump

over 400 chp. You could always sell your RS4 and get a walbro, make some money that way ;-)

Default It couldn't hurt. I'm almost thinking the AWE/GIAC stage 3 car that went down on the Maha was due to

lack of fuel. As Hal explained it to me, there is enough fuel for ~10-15 second WOT with stock fuel pump. The Maha does 30-40 second WOT runs.

Part of the EGT protection mode is adding more fuel.

If EGT's get too high, the throttle plate closes, making the car almost undriveable.
