whos got the Audi Vibrant Collection exhaust? I know it's quiet (good)...but is it a 3" throughout?

How quiet are you looking for?
I helped a local install a vibrant cat back recently, and it was louder than either of us was expecting. His car has k03's and ASP DPs with the newer mini-cats. His car is probably 2x as loud as my car with K04's, ASP manis, AWE DPs w/cats, and supersprint cat back. I'm sure the larger downpipes make a difference, but I also noticed the vibrant just has a small resonator up front while the supersprint has a full size can.
FWIW, the owner of the car with the vibrant is looking into putting a larger muffler in place of the front resonator. Both of us are 'senior citizens' compared to many here, so factor that into the observations...

You should also consider Supersprint...
I had one on my car and it was very very quiet. Now have ASP and it is MUCH louder. Everyone that heard the SS on my car loved the sound and also would comment on how much more civilized it sounded over other options. Good luck either way!!!! My kid is due any day now!

Yea...Supersprint is nice...but $$$. We'll see...i'm really in no rush. I really feel old.....going quiter and quieter with each exhaust...lol

hmmnn....im sure that the SS setup with Cats has more to do with it being quieter than Vibrant......
mated to ASP DP's with those high flow cats. Now i'm stumped......i'd like to hear it in person. Milltek 3" is looking more and more like the sureshot way to go
