I'm thinking about using this to clean my engine up but I'm a bit worried about things messing up. My plugs were already changed 8k mil ago at the 40k service so I don't want to have to change those after I use the stuff.
What hose did you use to suck the seafoam into intake manifold? Any pics? Any write ups for our engine?
Any noticeable improvements?

there are a couple ways to use it.
i use 1 can of seafoam in my gas tank every 2500 - 5000 miles.
a 100 miles before an oil change you can put 1/2 can in with your existing engine oil and the rest in your gas tank.
third you can disconnect the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator and start the car and let it idle. take the hose and let it suck up 1/2 can of seafoam into the line you had disconnected - do this slowly so you don't flood it. shut the car off after the 1/2 can is used and let sit for 10 minutes. once ten minutes has gone by start the car up and drive around a full throttle. your call will most likely emit white smoke out your exaust so you want to do it at dark or quiet area.

The white smoke cleared out the tennis courts. You can say the people were scared and a bit pissed.

using a vaccuum line. This requires two people, one to keep the revs up to at least 3000 RPM while you gradually feed the seafoam into the vacuum line.
I got this theory for valve and cylinder cleaning directly from the guy whose grandfather started the company. He posted it on the Ducati Monster board some time ago.
Doing this is kind of scary and produces immense clouds of thick white smoke. Once the can has been run through the engine, take the car out and run it for 10-20 miles before shutting it down.
I wouldn't do this on an S4 or any other car worth more than about $5k. I didn't have much of a problem doing it on my Honda. I also didn't notice any difference, positive or negative.

Short answer is that if you put it through the vacuum line, expect lots of smoke and a "misfire" check-engine light. That said, it seemed to smooth out the engine somewhat.
I'd be a bit hesitant to put it in my oil, but that's just me.
