Why is the beep from the alarm not sounding?

Default Why is the beep from the alarm not sounding?
When I lock my door with the remote my car is not making the low beep it normally does. Did I mistakenly disarm this feature. Any ideas?

Make sure doors, trunk & hood are closed tight. Won't honk otherwise.
